Na curta-metragem Nura, entramos num futuro distópico centrado numa mulher de 54 anos, chamada Nura. Isolada do mundo exterior, ela resiste na sua casa, em plena paisagem árida, sem vegetação nem abastecimento de água, convencida de que pode satisfazer sozinha as suas necessidades diárias. Na sua estufa, cultiva com cuidado tudo o que precisa para sobreviver. Numa noite, o seu filho Leon surge inesperadamente e tenta convencê-la a participar num projeto governamental de realojamento. Irá Nura ceder às forças da natureza e tornar-se mais uma entre milhões de refugiados climáticos, ou conseguirá sobreviver neste ambiente hostil?

In the short film Nura, we enter a dystopian future world centered around an elderly woman named Nura (54). Isolated from the outside world, she perseveres in her house in the middle of a barren landscape, without vegetation or water supply, convinced that she can meet her daily needs on her own. In her greenhouse, she lovingly grows everything she needs to survive. One night, her son Leon appears unexpectedly on her doorstep and tries to convince her to take part in a government resettlement project. Will Nura have to bow to the forces of nature and become one of the millions of other climate refugees, or will she manage to survive in this hostile environment?
