Coral City’ é uma curta-metragem documental sobre uma cientista e jovem mãe do Sri Lanka, Kushlani, que investiga o possível futuro dos corais. Guiados pelas reflexões de Kushlani sobre maternidade, biologia e a humanidade, mergulhamos nas águas que rodeiam o Sri Lanka, encontrando não só amostras de ADN de corais, mas também uma nova teoria sobre a “sobrevivência dos mais gentis”.

Coral City is a short documentary about a Sri Lankan scientist and young mother, Kushlani, that investigates the possible future of corals. Guided by the reveries of Kushlani about motherhood, biology and the human kind, we dive deep into the waters surrounding Sri Lanka, finding not only crucial DNA-samples of corals, but also a new theory about the ‘survival of the kindest’.
