Há vários milhares de milhões de anos, diferentes microrganismos encontraram-se para se devorarem uns aos outros, mas, em vez disso, decidiram criar uma parceria. As relações simbióticas entre microrganismos, responsáveis pelo desenvolvimento da Terra, pela origem e pela evolução da vida, são exploradas nesta animação. A obra mostra o corpo humano como lar de inúmeros tipos de bactérias: algumas mantêm-no vivo, outras podem destruí-lo. As bactérias criaram o seu próprio mundo dentro e à volta deste corpo e ainda guardam memórias do período Pré-Câmbrico, desde a formação da Terra até ao aparecimento das primeiras plantas, quando foram as protagonistas da história da vida. A animação baseia-se na tese da bióloga Lynn Margulis, que defendia que cada unidade individual na Terra molda o seu próprio ambiente interno e que todas têm igual importância.

Several billion years ago different microorganisms met to eat each other but instead of that decided to create a partnership. The symbiotic relationships of microorganisms which are to be blamed for development of Earth, origin and evolution of life, are explored in the animation. It shows a human body which is a home for different types of bacterias. They are keeping this body alive and sometimes killing it. Bacterias have created their own world in it and around it. And they still have memories from the Precambrian period (from the formation of the Earth to the first plants) when they were the main players in the story of the origin of life. Animation is based on a scientific thesis by biologist Lynn Margulis who supported the idea that every separate unit on the Earth shapes its own unique environment inside them and all of them are equally important.
